Chula Link Scholarship for International Applicant

Qualifications of Applicants

  • The applicant must have a GPA on a 4.00 scale
    • If the applicant’s institution does not use the 4.00 GPA system, the GPA must be converted to a 4.00 scale with official certification from the home university or the registrar’s office.
      • Master’s degree applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.75
      • Doctoral degree applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.75 at the Bachelor’s level and 3.25 at the Master’s level.
  • Applicants must demonstrate good English proficiency with one of the following minimum scores: (please attach an official score report issued within the last two years: as of May 24, 2024)
      • TOEFL (ITP): 500, or
      • TOEFL (CBT): 173, or
      • TOEFL (iBT): 60, or
      • IELTS: 5.5
  • Applicants must not be over 40 years of age.
  • Applicants must be in good physical and mental health.

    Important: The applicant’s name and all documents must be uploaded to the Grant Gateway system at https://bit.ly/ChulaLINK
    for PPC to nominate them for the scholarship. If the applicant’s name and documents are not in the system, nomination cannot proceed.

 

  1. Documents to be uploaded to the Grant Gateway system include:
    • One recent 1-inch photo
    • A Curriculum Vitae (CV)
    • A complete academic transcript issued by the last academic institution attended
      (Must be on a 4.00 scale. If not, GPA must be converted to a 4.00 scale with official certification from the home university or registrar’s office)
    • A certificate of graduation, if available
    • A photocopy of passport (valid for at least 2 years)
    • Two letters of recommendation from the Head, Director, Dean of the university/institution, or the applicant’s superiors
      (A free format is allowed. Please do not use the PPC recommendation form from the PPC website.)
    • Study Plan / Description of Academic Interests
    • A medical certificate issued by a licensed medical doctor
