Program

Petrochemical Technology
Applicants must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petrochemical Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or related fields.
 
Polymer Science
Applicants must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Polymer Science, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Industrial Chemistry, or related fields.
 
Petroleum Technology
Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Petroleum Engineering, Chemistry, or related fields.

Qualifications

B.S. applicants must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.50 or a GPA of 2.7 in professional core courses.
M.S. applicants must have a GPA of at least 3.50 .
A satisfactory TOEFL / IELT score is required. Applicants who do not have a TOEFL score will be asked to take the Chulalongkorn University Test of English Proficiency (CUTEP).

Application

Application forms can be obtained from the Office of Academic Affairs, or downloaded from the College's Web Site free of charge. The completed Application Form must be submited to the Office of Academic Affairs, The Petroleum and Petrochemical College, Chulalongkorn University, by November 12, 2010. The following documents are required for application:
Two copies of the signed and completed Application Form, including the “Statement of Purpose”
Transcripts
Sealed recommendation envelopes (two)
Application fee of 500 baht (US$ 15)
CU-TEP test fee of 600 baht (if the test has not already been taken)
Chulalongkorn Test of English Proficiency (CU-TEP) score or Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score
 

Criteria for Selection

Admission is granted upon a successful interview with the Admission Committee composed of College faculty members and representatives from the partner institutions. The selection is based on careful evaluation of the applicant's academic record, English proficiency, letters of recommendation, work experience, analytical and problem solving skills, moral quality, motivation, leadership, and potential for professional success.
